At Sunnybank Rugby, we’re committed to nurturing skills, fostering a love for the game, and creating unforgettable experiences. In 2025, we’re thrilled to launch our inaugural U13 Fiji Tour, an exciting opportunity for up to 30 players, coaches, and support staff to embark on an international rugby adventure.

This tour is more than just rugby—it’s about immersing players in international competition, exploring Fiji’s vibrant culture, and building lifelong bonds with teammates. The initiative will become an annual tradition, with a new U13 squad heading to Fiji each year to carry on this enriching experience.

To support the 2025 touring squad, our fundraising committee has launched a digital fundraising platform, making it easy to contribute towards flights, accommodation, meals, and excursions. Whether you sponsor a player or donate to the team, every contribution helps us bring this dream to life. What is the inaugural U13 Fiji Tour at Sunnybank Rugby Union?

Starting in 2025, fully registered U13 players will have the opportunity to travel to Fiji for an immersive experience in rugby and culture.

Is this a one off tour or an ongoing initiative?

Ongoing! Fully registered Dragons players born in 2012 will tour in 2025, 2013 will tour in 2026, 2014 in 2027 and so on.

How many players and staff will be involved?

Each year, we aim to send up to 39 players, coaches, and support staff to be part of this incredible opportunity.

How is it funded and what are the costs?

The cost of flights, accommodation, food, and excursions is a significant expense for a tour of this size. We rely on team fundraisers and donations to reduce the out-of-pocket costs for families.

How can I support the 2025 and future touring squads?
