Veterans Rugby is a place for former Dragons of all ages and experiences to reconnect, relive the glory days, and remain part of the club that shaped so many of our lives. 

Whether you laced up your boots for one season or built a legacy over many, this is a network to celebrate the spirit of rugby that united us all and have a weekly game of touch.

Joining Sunnybank Puffing Dragons means more than staying connected; it’s about giving back to the club that gave us so much. Through events, mentorship, and continued support, Veterans rugby keeps the Dragon fire alive, ensuring future generations benefit from the legacy we all helped build.

You don’t even have to have played for Sunnybank to be part of our community. We welcome players from all backgrounds – including a number of ex-international stars – and we’re open to newbies too, whether or not you’ve ever played the game before. Once a Dragon, always a Dragon!
