Sunnybank Rugby Union’s Girls program is dedicated to empowering young females both on and off the field, fostering skill development, confidence, and character. As one of Brisbane’s top girls’ rugby programs, we offer exciting opportunities in XV Rugby for U12, U14, and U16 age groups, alongside Sevens rugby.
Our focus is on building game understanding while refining individual and position-specific skills. Whether players are new to rugby or seeking to develop further, our program provides a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where they can have fun, form friendships, and grow in teamwork and leadership.
As our Girls Rugby program continues to expand, we invite players of all skill levels to join our community and experience the growth, support, and success that comes with being part of the Sunnybank Rugby Union family.
GIRLS U12, U14, U16
Girls XV rugby at Sunnybank is designed for players aged U12 - U16, focusing on building confidence, developing essential skills, and fostering strong connections with teammates. As Brisbane’s girls’ rugby competition continues to grow, Sunnybank Rugby Union has adapted its program and coaching support to ensure young female players feel empowered to advance in their rugby journey. Parents can be confident that their child’s technical and tactical skills are being developed with pathways into senior women’s grades and representative teams in mind.

GIRLS U11 -
U17 SEVENS
Our Sevens teams are a natural extension of our Girls XV rugby, providing a dynamic and fast-paced style of rugby for our young female players. The Sevens tournaments are included within the season fees, giving players more game time and additional opportunities to refine their skills in a competitive environment.
