The 2025 BJRU Under 18 Boys Lightning Series is finally here, and our Junior Colts are all set to hit the field! The action kicks off this Sunday, February 23rd, at Ipswich Rangers, marking the beginning of an exciting 5-week journey toward the finals at Sunnybank on March 30th.
This series promises to be an action-packed ride, featuring intense competition, incredible team spirit, and the chance to earn a spot in the coveted BJRU Dream Team. For our Junior Colts players, it's an opportunity to showcase their talent, dedication, and love for the game of rugby.
What to Expect from the 2025 BJRU Lightning Series
The Under 18 Boys Lightning Series will be a thrilling challenge for our Junior Colts, with games scheduled every week throughout February and March. This is an excellent opportunity for the players to test their skills, work together as a team, and grow in their rugby journey.

As our Junior Colts gear up for the start of the series, we couldn’t be more proud of the dedication and hard work they’ve put in so far. Each player has shown incredible commitment, and we’re excited to see them shine on the field this weekend and throughout the competition.
