Sunnybank Rugby Union Launches “Back to the Bank” Campaign to Ignite Passion for the 2025 Season.

Sunnybank Rugby Union is thrilled to unveil its 2025 marketing campaign, “Back to the Bank.” This heartfelt initiative celebrates the club’s rich legacy while rallying the community for another unforgettable season of rugby.

Launching this January, the campaign will spotlight what makes Sunnybank Rugby Union truly special: its people, passion, and history. From honouring past legends to capturing the energy of current players, families, and supporters, “Back to the Bank” is a tribute to the vibrant culture that defines the club.

Adding to the excitement, the 2025 season will also see the unveiling of major renovations to the club’s facilities. In collaboration with Sunnybank Rugby Union’s board committee, management, and club partner Sunnybank Community Sports Club, the clubhouse and grounds are being transformed into a modern, vibrant hub for players, members, and the wider community. From a revamped clubhouse and upgraded gym to expanded outdoor spaces, these upgrades breathe new life into the long-established grounds—offering more than just rugby, but also opportunities for connection, celebration, and shared success.

The campaign will feature dynamic visual content, including interviews with legacy families, striking photography, and a brand-new website designed to enhance communication and accessibility for members. With 42 senior and junior teams carrying through from the 2024 season, the club will highlight its unity and strength, inviting new families, sponsors, and players to join the Dragon family and continue the proud tradition of #BleedGreen.

This messaging also reaches out to past players and families who’ve stepped away, reminding them that they will always have a home at Sunnybank Rugby Union. Whether they’re starting their rugby parent journey or looking to develop their skills, familiar faces, a newly established management team, and refurbished grounds will be there to welcome them back.

Stephanie, who recently joined the club’s management team, has been instrumental in propelling a reinvigorated leadership approach and implementing new protocols to ensure the club’s continued success.
