Our U12 - U16 program provides Junior boys the opportunity to develop individual skills, fitness and team work of all players in accordance with their age and understanding of the game. The age spectrum covers training to train and training to compete.

The Junior Colts program provides U17 - U18 boys the opportunity to develop all core skills (catch & pass, support, kicking, defense, contact, tackling) with increased game readiness to prepare them for Senior Colts Rugby.

fees & inclusions

U12 - U16s (XVs Juniors): $365* + transaction fee

​U17 - U18 (XVs Junior Colts): $300* + transaction fee

​

* Season registration fee includes:

  • Rugby Australia, Brisbane Junior Rugby Union and Queensland Rugby Union Levies

  • Player Insurance

  • Referee and Match fees

  • Training shirt, playing shorts and club socks

  • Team jerseys

  • Medical support on game days

  • End of season presentation

  • Field maintenance

  • Club Administration

Games are held on Sundays for U12 - Junior Colts competitions. 

Junior Colts
The BJRU competition structure for Junior Colts (U17 & U18) is 15-a-side term competitions.

how to register

All full season & training-only registrations are completed online through Rugby Xplorer. 
​

  • Login using your email and password

  • Click Register in the menu options

  • Click Find a Club

  • When asked 'Who would you like to register?' click on the correct profile to be registered​

    • Each player will need to be registered separately​

    • New players will need to click Link a New Person

  • Search Sunnybank Junior Rugby Club ​

    • For U12 - U16 players, select XVs Juniors for Registration Type

    • For U17-U18/Junior Colts, select XVs Junior Colts for Registration Type

  • Follow the prompts and update personal details (if necessary)

  • Update or fill in any additional details

  • Update or fill in any emergency contact details

  • Tick 'I have read and agree to the National terms and conditions' box

  • Pay registration when prompted at the gateway by credit/debit card or ZipPay options.

  • Once complete, Registration Successful will pop up to confirm your registration.
